The HP EliteBook Ultra G1i is HP’s “next-generation AI PC.” I’ve been hearing about AI PCs for a few years now. While the hardware is powerful and the look is pretty, HP’s focus is still on AI, so I’ll try to focus more on the software in this review. Indeed, this is a high-quality portable computer with a Lunar Lake processor.
The HP EliteBook Ultra G1i is a good laptop: solid build quality, a beautiful OLED screen, Lunar Lake performance across the board, and great HP EliteBook Ultra G1i Laptop Battery life.
HP EliteBook Ultra G1i: Design and Build Quality The 14-inch HP EliteBook Ultra G1i is very well made. It comes in a beautiful deep “Sky Blue” color with a black border around the display, which is understated yet premium. The magnesium alloy gives it a durable and lightweight feel that reflects the characteristics of a high-quality metal laptop. The body weighs 2.68 pounds, which is quite good – not particularly heavy, but not particularly light either.
The laptop’s AI vision isn’t dramatic: There’s an “HP” logo on the lid, but nothing about AI. The only hint of AI is a small blue “AI” logo on the bottom right of the keyboard, below the right arrow key.HP EliteBook Ultra G1i Laptop Battery Life

The HP EliteBook Ultra G1i is a good laptop: solidly built, with a beautiful OLED screen, a well-rounded Lunar Lake processor, andHP EliteBook Ultra G1i Laptop Battery life is pretty good, too. And that’s not counting the AI features. If you’re going to rate a laptop based on its AI features, this is one of the best I’ve seen so far. HP really put a lot of effort into that.
