iPhone 14 expected to launch alongside new Apple Watch, iPad and AirPods Pro 2

Apple typically unveils a slew of new products at the end of each year, but according to a prominent figure in Apple’s leaks, it sounds like the iPhone 14 could get more than its fair share of gadget companions.

This comes from Mark Gurman, who mentions a slew of products expected to be launched between “fall 2022 and first half of 2023” — aka Apple’s peak. Chief among them is the iPhone 14, and Gurman says there will be four models – we’ve heard from leakers many times before, and the expected lineup includes the standard model as well as the iPhone 14 Max, Pro, and Pro Max.

There’s a lot of other stuff we’ve heard about the upcoming iPhone Pro model, like its always-on display, high-resolution rear camera, and improved front-facing camera.

Next up is the AirPods Pro 2, although all Gurman said was “I still expect the new AirPods Pro earbuds to have a newer chip and support for higher quality audio,” so there’s not much information on those.

Apple is said to release a new iPad Pro in 2022 with the new M2 chipset – Gurman said there will be 11-inch and 12.9-inch versions, but did address rumors of a larger 14-inch version, which he said could be around next year Come.

But that’s not what the iPad party is all about, as the new entry-level iPad (2022) comes with 5G, a new chipset, and a USB-C port.

As the title says, more smartwatches are expected, and not just the high-end Apple Watch 8. The new Apple Watch SE 2, along with a ruggedized version of the standard model designed for extreme sports users, has been toppled.

Gurman also lists a number of new Macs using multiple versions of the M2 chipset, with MacBooks and Mac Minis expected.

Finally, Gurman pointed to a “mixed reality” headset that uses an M2 chip and 16GB of RAM, something fans expected to hear about at WWDC 2022 (Apple’s annual tech event in the middle of the year), but never really Debut.
