Its bright, color-accurate display and performance are both decent. The Xiaomi Mi 15T has decent battery life and fast charging. Reviewing the Xiaomi Mi 15T is a tricky proposition. On the one hand, it’s an overall good mid-range phone with strong specs, a sharp camera, and a large, bright display. On the other hand, it offers minimal upgrades over its predecessor, with only a new processor, a slightly larger display, and a largerXiaomi Mi 15T Smartphone Battery capacity, differentiating it from the Xiaomi Mi 14T.
Like its Pro sibling, the Xiaomi Mi 15T features a larger 6.83-inch AMOLED display this year. The 2772 x 1280 resolution is nearly identical to the 14T, but the maximum refresh rate has been reduced from 144Hz to 120Hz. The rated brightness is also lower this year, dropping from 4000 nits to 3200 nits.
The MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset is the successor to the Mi 14T’s 8300 Ultra SoC, offering the same 3.25GHz peak clock speed and paired with 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage.
Perhaps the biggest change this generation is the Xiaomi Mi 15T Smartphone Battery, which has increased from 5,000mAh to 5,500mAh—although wired charging remains at 67W as before.

The 3.25GHz MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset achieved strong results in Geekbench 6, outperforming the Pixel 9a in multi-core performance and beating the Honor 400 Pro—although the Honor was 31% faster in single-core performance.
However, as always, Apple’s chip is unmatched. The iPhone 16e is far ahead, with single-core and multi-core performance exceeding the Xiaomi by 111% and 21%, respectively.

life is also quite good. In our standard looping video battery test, the Xiaomi 15T
lasted 27 hours and 55 minutes, more than four hours longer than the iPhone 16e. However, the Pixel 9a even outperformed it in this regard, achieving an impressive 34 hours and 5 minutes.

Minor software quirks aside, the Mi 15T isn’t particularly impressive. It’s a minor upgrade from its predecessor. The screen is larger, the Xiaomi Mi 15T Smartphone Batterycapacity is slightly improved, and the processor is a newer one, but otherwise, it’s pretty much the same as the Mi 14T.
