The biggest drawback of the larger size is the band. Of course, Google still uses its proprietary band connector, but now there are two sizes to choose from. The 41mm Pixel Watch band is not compatible with the 45mm band.
The screen is good enough, and the Fitbit features are comprehensive enough.
On the software front, this year’s watch faces have been updated with several new ones, including sports and athletics-themed ones.
I find my morning charging habit a bit excessive, at least for the 45mm model. A full charge in about 30 minutes per day is sufficient. In my opinion, thePixel Watch 3 Battery life is excellent for a smartwatch.
The Pixel Camera app is now more powerful, with new photo and video controls, and the overall experience has been improved. I used to enjoy taking photos with my watch, mainly because the app was so slow. But now it’s not only fast but also very intuitive. I’m impressed by the app’s ease of use and want to use it more often. The larger screen on the 45mm model makes it even better.
