The Logitech MX Master 3S is one of the most practical mice we’ve tested in a long time. While it’s pricier than other similar mice, it offers multi-OS support, Easy Switch, a 70-day Logitech MX Master 3S Mouse Battery<\/a><\/u><\/strong>life, and more. The MX Master 3S is a great value\u2014especially if, like me, you frequently use multi-functional PC accessories for both work and play. The notable changes between the MX Master 3S and the MX Master 3 are an increase in sensor dots per inch (DPI) from 4,000 to 8,000, and quieter clicks, which Logitech claims are 90% quieter than the Master 3. The mouse fully supports both Windows and Mac platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 1080p and 1440p monitors, increasing the cursor speed doesn’t seem to provide any additional benefit. However, on a 4K monitor, this became more noticeable; I was able to notice and respond to subtle movements, allowing me to aim more accurately. The mouse has a built-in 500 mAh rechargeable battery, which Logitech claims will last up to 70 days whether connected via Bluetooth or the included Logi Bolt USB receiver.Logitech MX Master 3S Mouse Battery<\/a><\/u><\/strong>After using this mouse for work and play for over a week, the battery only depleted 8%\u2014so based on my usage, I did some math and the 70-day battery life is quite possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I pair the mouse to my work desktop via the USB dongle. When I use it on my laptop for creative writing and gaming, I pair it via Bluetooth. Thanks to the Easy Switch feature, I can switch between computers with a simple press of a button on the back of the mouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Replacing Logitech MX Master 3S Mouse Battery<\/a><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It Takes a Lot of Effort<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Logitech MX Master 3S has many advantages, but the (strictly speaking) non-removable internal battery is a bit disappointing. While the likelihood of needing a battery replacement within a year or two is low, being able to easily disassemble the mouse and replace it with a new one is a plus, which is something I prefer for electronics. If the mouse’s battery fails or develops a problem within two years of use, Logitech’s warranty should cover it and guarantee a replacement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Logitech MX Master 3S has become my go-to mouse for just about everything: office work, creative writing, and some gaming, but no competitive titles like CS:GO 2, which are best played with a traditional gaming mouse. This isn’t a disparagement of the MX Master 3S, but it’s clearly better suited for productivity first and gaming second.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
