Oh, how I wish its battery was better! 5G, unlocked, 512GB storage, 12GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 6.7-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X display (3120 x 1440 pixel resolution and 120Hz refresh rate technology), Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 protection, Android 15, 200 + 12MP dual rear camera system, 12MP front camera, 3,900mAhGalaxy S25 Edge phone battery<\/strong>(supports 25W charging), Galaxy AI, titanium construction, three color options The Galaxy S25 Edge features an ultra-thin titanium body that’s thinner and lighter than you might think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The maximum brightness we measured on the S25 Edge was close to 2,400 nits, which is comparable to the Galaxy S25 Plus and Ultra, and actually slightly higher than the iPhone 16 Pro Max, so the Edge is still very good for outdoor use. The phone uses the same 200-megapixel main camera sensor as the Galaxy S25 Ultra (slightly larger than the one on the S25 Plus), and the ultra-wide-angle camera is 12 megapixels (the same as on the S25 Plus). So we can see the sensor combination of the Ultra and Plus, but it is worth noting that it does not have a telephoto camera. The S25 Edge has a 3,900 mAhGalaxy S25 Edge smartphone Battery<\/strong><\/a>, which is even smaller than the compact Galaxy S25. This sounds like a downgrade. This is both good and bad – having a shorter battery life than the compact Galaxy S25 is not great, but at least it’s not much worse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can judge for yourself based on the ratings, but let me start with my take: If you don\u2019t use the camera a lot (or play games, but I doubt many gamers would buy it in the first place), the S25 Edge should last you all day. And it did in the first year of owning it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And here\u2019s the real kicker The S25 Edge\u2019s 25W charging isn\u2019t record-breaking, but<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It takes just over an hour to fully charge, and we\u2019re pretty happy with that. Sure, 45W charging would be better (and the S25 Plus has it), but I don\u2019t think 25W is too high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You also get the usual 15W wireless charging, which is even slower. And there are no magnets here (in case you were expecting some kind of miracle).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Galaxy S25 Edge Audio Quality and Haptics<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The S25 Edge speakers sound surprisingly good, and I say \u201csurprisingly\u201d because we expected the S25 Plus to have a drop in quality, but that wasn\u2019t the case. The sound is loud, and while it’s not industry-leading, the bass is still full and the mids are clear, so we appreciate that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haptics are the same as the rest of the S25 series, which is to say they’re good, but not as tight and coordinated with the interface as devices like the OnePlus 13. But it’sGalaxy S25 Edge smartphone Battery<\/strong><\/a> life isn’t outstanding, and as a buyer, you shouldn’t take it lightly. But if you’re fully aware of this shortcoming, I think you’ll be happy with the S25 Edge, and its incredibly light weight and ultra-thin body will be enough to satisfy you. It’s also good-looking, which is crucial in a market full of cookie-cutter smartphones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
