It has a fast AMD processor, the fabric cover looks and feels great, and it has all the basic features. The processor on the Lenovo Yoga 6 didn&#8217;t get an upgrade, but everything else is better on this new model if you want an affordable convertible laptop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One thing I complained about the previous generation Lenovo Yoga 6 was the lack of ports, as well as some odd limitations. For example, there was no HDMI port, and I had to buy a docking station to use an external monitor. One of the USB-C ports doesn&#8217;t support&nbsp;<strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.batteriesfast.co.uk\/laptop-battery\/Lenovo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lenovo Yoga 6 Gen 7 Laptop Battery<\/a>&nbsp;<\/u><\/strong>charging, so I had to keep that in mind if I wanted to plug in peripherals that use USB-C. This time around, Lenovo has addressed all of those issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new Yoga 6 has Lenovo&#8217;s traditional round-key keyboard. Lenovo made the trackpad larger, so it&#8217;s more comfortable to use. The battery life is surprisingly short compared to the previous generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Surprisingly, the battery life on this Lenovo Yoga 6 Gen 7 laptop isn&#8217;t great. I had expected the Lenovo Yoga 6 Gen 7 laptop to have comparable battery life to the model I reviewed last year, since they have similar processors, but that wasn&#8217;t the case. This<strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.batteriesfast.co.uk\/laptop-battery\/Lenovo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lenovo Yoga 6 Gen 7 Laptop Battery<\/a><\/u><\/strong>&nbsp;life consistently topped out at over 5 hours, but was consistently below 6 hours. The longest I got was 5 hours and 46 minutes, and the shortest was almost exactly 5 hours. Brightness was usually around 60%, and I focused on web browsing and writing, usually with about 5 to 10 tabs open. There was also some light photo editing involved. It&#8217;s hard to recommend this machine wholeheartedly if you need a machine to get a lot of work done away from a power outlet. With all the improvements Lenovo made this year, the Yoga 6 Gen 7 is an excellent laptop with very little to dislike. The most notable is the<strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.batteriesfast.co.uk\/laptop-battery\/Lenovo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lenovo Yoga 6 Gen 7 Laptop Battery<\/a><\/u><\/strong>&nbsp;life, which may not be good enough if you like to stay away from an outlet and actively use your laptop all day.
