If you look back at the few Pixel phone reviews I\u2019ve written over the years, one thing you might notice is that I rarely rave about the battery life of any of Google\u2019s phones. My testing generally shows that thePixel phone battery<\/a><\/strong>life is either solid (understandably mediocre) or pretty bad. capacity is 4700mAh, and the Pixel 9 Pro XL phone battery<\/a><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This means that the battery capacity of the Pixel 9 Pro XL is comparable to the Pixel 8 Pro, and I\u2019m not too worried about the battery life of this device, but I wouldn\u2019t rank it at the top of the list of smartphone battery kings. For the Pixel 9 Pro, we have no phone to compare it to. However, 4700mAh is a lot of battery capacity for a phone of this size, at least in my opinion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TESTING RESULTS: As I said before, my testing started with the Pixel 9 Pro XL. Unfortunately, I didn’t take enough screenshots the first few days, but at least one showed 3 hours of screen time and 63% battery remaining. This was just a small part of a day that included 40 minutes of Pokemon Go, some quality camera time, and all the other apps I usually run (Chrome, Instagram, Threads, Google News, Telegram, etc.). One day, I fell asleep before taking a screenshot, and I’m pretty sure I went to bed when IPixel 9 Pro XL phone battery<\/a><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

40% battery and 4 hours of screen time. I was using the Pixel 9 Pro XL for the first few days, but the battery wasn’t dropping fast enough. Then, a Pixel 9 Pro review unit showed up and I really got to work. On the first charge, I got 3.5 hours of screen time and went to bed with 21% battery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Pixel 9 Pro XL tops out at 27.2W. That’s not super fast or that slow, but if you really want the extra juice, the 45W charger might be worth it, assuming it can actually hit those numbers. The charger I have is powerful, but somehow this phone just can’t reach that level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

from 12% to 51% in 20 minutes. That’s pretty good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, both devices support wireless charging, and Google’s charging technology is smart enough to trickle charge these devices overnight until you wake up. By the next morning, they’ll have you at 100% while also protecting your battery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So battery life is definitely a highlight of the Pixel 9 Pro phone battery<\/a> <\/u><\/strong>and Pixel 9 Pro XL. For super heavy users, I think you’ll find these two devices can handle your daily life. For small phone lovers (like me), we just found a new best friend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
