It’s well-built, feels great, has a good number of keys (including a 10-key number pad) but doesn’t take up too much desk space, and it’s wireless, has tri-mode connectivity,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asus ROG Strix Scope II 96 Keyboard Battery<\/a><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Up to 1,500 hours of battery life (over 2.4GHz wireless, lighting off). Among mainstream gaming peripheral manufacturers, Asus is the only one that has successfully brought enthusiast-style upgrades to gaming keyboards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless comes pre-installed with Asus’ ROG NX Snow (linear) or Storm (tactile) mechanical switches – I tested the linear RX Snow switches, which are pre-lubricated, have an actuation force of 45g, and an actuation point of 1.8mm. I\u2019m not a huge fan of linear switches in general, but the NX Snow switches do offer a quiet, smooth, stable \u201crefined\u201d feel \u2014 and even I couldn\u2019t find much to complain about. Plus, the keyboard\u2019s PCB is hot-swappable, so you can completely customize your typing experience by swapping out any mechanical switches you like (it supports both 3-pin and 5-pin switches)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A keyboard doesn\u2019t have to be wireless to take the top spot on our list, but this one is \u2014 with low-latency 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as wired (via USB-C). The battery life on this keyboard is impressive \u2014 to say the least.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

life at 1,500 hours with 2.4GHz wireless \u2014 with the lighting turned off, of course \u2014 which is more than enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro Best Full-Size Gaming Keyboard<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This keyboard isn\u2019t hot-swappable, and you can choose between Razer Green (clicky) or Razer Yellow (linear) mechanical switches. Razer’s green clicky switches are a little heavier than other clicky switches, with a 50g actuation force and 1.9mm actuation point, but I’ve always really liked their loud and piercing sound. The BlackWidow V4 Pro came out before Razer started experimenting with more audiophile-style soundproofing, like you see in the Razer BlackWidow V4 75%<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s great for gaming, though, with fully programmable keys (including macro keys\/buttons, media keys, volume roller, and command dial) and an extra layer via Razer HyperShift, up to five onboard profiles, full N-key rollover, and up to 8,000 Hz polling rates. It’s a wired keyboard, so you don’t have to worry about the lighting and underlighting of each key consuming the Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro keyboard battery<\/a><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Lemokey L3 Best TKL Gaming Keyboard<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lemokey L3 is the first gaming keyboard from the Keychron spin-off brand, and it\u2019s a pretty impressive product\u2014especially if you\u2019re looking for a gaming keyboard that you also enjoy typing on. The L3 is a wireless mechanical gasket-mount keyboard with a hot-swappable PCB and compact, compact design. Whether you use the included Keychron-exclusive Gateron Jupiter switches or your own, typing on the L3 is awesome. The keyboard features a dual-gasket-mount design with two layers of sound-isolating foam inside the shell, and the sound quality is much better than any mainstream gaming keyboard.
