These included tests like Cinebench R23 to see how the CPU performs, and PCMark10 to see how it holds up to typical office workloads. I also used the latter&#8217;s&nbsp;<strong><u><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.batteriesfast.co.uk\/search?search=HP+Spectre+x360\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HP Spectre x360&nbsp;laptop&nbsp;battery<\/a><\/u>&nbsp;<\/strong>test to see how long it can last on a single charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because this is an ultrabook, I didn&#8217;t run any super-heavy programs like Adobe Premiere or Blender with it, as that&#8217;s simply not what this laptop is designed for<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That being said, this isn&#8217;t a laptop you&#8217;d expect to use to edit videos in Adobe Premiere. For that, you&#8217;d probably want one of the best gaming laptops around. Intel&#8217;s onboard graphics have come a long way since the Iris days, but the Spectre x360&#8217;s Xe graphics aren&#8217;t anywhere near the best GPUs from Nvidia, AMD (or now Intel).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More impressive, though, is the&nbsp;<strong><u><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.batteriesfast.co.uk\/search?search=HP+Spectre+x360\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HP Spectre x360 13.5 battery<\/a>&nbsp;<\/u><\/strong>life. Considering the high-resolution OLED and HDR panel, I expected it to underperform. However, I was completely wrong.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then there\u2019s the keyboard \u2013 this is one of the most comfortable laptops I\u2019ve used in recent memory. The keys have a good amount of travel distance, and they don\u2019t make too many clicks, considering how thin this laptop is. Speaking of keyboards, I\u2019m a big fan of Cherry MX Brown, and the Spectre didn\u2019t disappoint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, performance is top of mind for a laptop this expensive, and luckily Intel\u2019s 12th-gen processors can help. The HP Spectre x360 is fast enough to get you through any common office tasks with ease, and its fans don&#8217;t hum unless you push it to its limits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The latter point is worth noting, because it&#8217;s a consistent issue I&#8217;ve had with the Spectre. These laptops have always been fast, but they&#8217;ve also always been very noisy under any kind of stress. This laptop is indeed noisy, but only occasionally. Most of the time, you&#8217;ll forget it even has a fan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m not sure if this is an engineering problem on HP&#8217;s part or an engineering problem on Intel&#8217;s part, but I suspect it&#8217;s both.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The device\u2019s<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.batteriesfast.co.uk\/search?search=HP+Spectre+x360\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HP Spectre x360 13.5 battery<\/a><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>lasts up to 11 hours, which is more than enough to last a full workday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are plenty of ports, considering the size<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most stable hinge in a 2-in-1 laptop<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are a lot of 2-in-1 laptops out there that start to wobble if you give it any bumps, but I would have never guessed that if I didn\u2019t know the HP Spectre x360 was a 2-in-1. It\u2019s incredibly stable in laptop mode, putting traditional laptops to shame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some Overly Memory-Hogging Software My only complaint about the HP Spectre x360 is that HP preinstalls a bunch of software you don&#8217;t need.
