However, thanks to watchOS 9, users with Apple Watch Series 4 and later can now use Low Power Mode, which will further extend smartwatch battery life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Low Power Mode is an upgraded version of Power Reserve, which disables almost all of the watch&#8217;s functions when turned on. Instead, this power saving feature will turn off some Apple Watch features while still keeping everything else running. It&#8217;s a handy tool to use, especially if you want to push your Apple Watch&#8217;s battery through a day without charging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Need to extend battery life? Here&#8217;s how to turn on Low Power Mode on Apple Watch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How to turn on Low Power Mode on Apple Watch<br>When Low Power Mode is turned on, Apple Watch will disable always-on display, heart rate notifications, background heart rate measurements, background oximetry, and reminders to start a workout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also, if your iPhone isn&#8217;t nearby, it turns off Wi-Fi and cellular connections, as well as incoming calls and notifications. It also affects the speed of certain features: making calls may take longer, Siri may take longer to respond, animations may appear less fluid, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other than that, your <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.batteriesfast.co.uk\/smart-watch-battery\/Apple\">Apple Watch<\/a><\/strong> will work as usual\u2014while saving battery power. With the flick of a switch, you can even set when it&#8217;s on. Proceed as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To turn on Low Power Mode, swipe up on the watch face to open Control Center.<\/li><li>Tap the battery percentage icon.<\/li><li>On this display, toggle the Low Power Mode switch to turn it on.<\/li><li>A message will pop up. Scroll to the bottom and select Open.<\/li><li>A yellow circle icon will appear at the top of the Apple Watch display to indicate that Low Power Mode is on.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can also turn on Low Power Mode in your <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.batteriesfast.co.uk\/smart-watch-battery\/Apple\">Apple Watch<\/a><\/strong>&#8216;s settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>On Apple Watch, press the Digital Crown to access your apps.<\/li><li>Open the Settings app.<\/li><li>Scroll down and select Battery.<\/li><li>Turn on Low Power Mode.<\/li><li>The same message will pop up. Scroll to the bottom again and select Open.<br>You can also choose how long the low power mode stays on when the message pops up. You can choose 1 day, 2 days or 3 days.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When your <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.batteriesfast.co.uk\/smart-watch-battery\/Apple\">Apple Watch<\/a><\/strong> battery drops below 10%, an alert will sound asking if you want to turn on Low Power Mode.
