The Apple iPad mini 7 is an updated version of the excellent iPad mini 6. Apple’s latest tablet isn’t revolutionary, but it’s a great device for those who want an iPad experience in a smaller form factor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does the iPad mini 7 have to offer? First, the powerful A17 Pro chip runs faster than the previous generation, allowing you to edit high-resolution photos and play graphically demanding games. The starting storage capacity is 128GB, which is a big improvement over the previous meager 64GB. This tablet also has excellent features<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below, we’ll discuss three reasons to buy the iPad mini 7 and two reasons not to buy it. The new iPad mini 7 maintains the same portable design as its predecessor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another difference between the iPad mini and its predecessor is the 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display. With a resolution of 2,266 x 1,488, the screen is bright, colorful, and crisp. Everything looks beautiful on this small display. The only downside is the thicker bezels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The biggest upgrade to the iPad mini 7 is the A17 Pro chip under the slim body. Similar to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, the processor helps give Apple\u2019s new tablet great performance. Of course, it can’t compare to the Apple M2 and Apple M4 chips used in the latest iPad Air and iPad Pro, respectively, but the A17 Pro performs just as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In my testing, the iPad mini 7 never slowed down, even when running 12 Chrome tabs and YouTube.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note that the minimum storage capacity of the iPad mini is 128GB. Considering that the previous model only had 64GB, this is a pretty impressive number. Considering the large file sizes of some apps and games, 128GB of storage is very beneficial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
