The system is very power-efficient, consuming only 2 W to 7 W at desk idle, depending on power configuration and brightness settings. Running a gaming-level load would require about 45 W or about 36% more power than the LG Gram 14T90N. Still, GPU performance is at least 2-3x faster, so the higher power consumption is worth the graphics performance boost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the CPU was at 100% utilization, we were able to record a maximum temporary power consumption of 66 W from the small (~9.8 x 6 x 2.7 cm) 65 W USB-C AC adapter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Review: LG Gram 14T90P<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lighter-than-average weight, a crisp 16:10 DCI-P3 touchscreen, and excellent battery life are all highlights of the Gram 14T90P. Its new design is more rigid without adding any weight, maintaining one of the biggest advantages of the 14-inch Gram series over heavier competitors like the Lenovo Yoga 9 14, HP Spectre x360 14, or Dell XPS 13 2-in-1. The chassis may be slightly less sturdy, but for travelers or students, the weight reduction may be worth it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Gram 14T90P is the comprehensive update the 14-inch Gram series needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, this 14-inch convertible has a lot of flaws that we wish it could improve. Slow charging, choppy frame rates when playing games, a floppy clickpad, average display brightness, no Windows Hello support, difficult maintenance, and average hinge stiffness all detract from an otherwise excellent 14-inch convertible. If LG can address these major flaws while keeping the weight down, the Gram 14 will easily rival more popular alternatives from Dell, Lenovo, or HP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
