As we all know, Windows 11 allows you to use different gestures on the touchpad to perform certain tasks, such as using three fingers to show all currently open applications or using four fingers to tap to open a date and time window. These are some useful basic Windows<\/a><\/strong> gestures, but it’s time to step up and take it to an advanced level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Advanced Gestures in Settings, you can fully customize three- and four-finger gestures. Want to use a three-finger tap as a middle mouse button? A sure thing. Or maybe you want to hide everything but the focused app with a simple four-finger swipe left? There’s a lot of configuration that can be done, whether it’s a tap or a swipe left, right, up and down. Additionally, you can set custom shortcuts for specific actions that are not in the list. Let’s take a look below!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to use advanced gestures in Windows 11
With a few tweaks in Settings, you can re-adjust the way you navigate on your Windows 11 PC. This is handy if you’re looking for a different way to get rid of unwanted windows<\/a><\/strong> right away or have a proper middle mouse button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For gestures that fit your style, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open Settings.<\/li>
  2. On the left sidebar, click Bluetooth & Devices.<\/li>
  3. Scroll down and tap the touchpad.<\/li>
  4. Navigate to Advanced Gestures under Related Settings.<\/li>
  5. Next to the gesture you want to customize, click the drop-down menu and select the action you want.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
