We expect Google to launch two different models this year: the regular Pixel Watch 3 and an XL version, the latter of which will offer a larger screen and some additional features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Galaxy Watch Ultra, on the other hand, has officially been announced, and we all know it&#8217;s Samsung&#8217;s first attempt at the rugged smartwatch idea. The two watches are very different in terms of design and versatility, but it will be interesting to see how they compare. Pixel Watch 3 XL vs Galaxy Watch Ultra: Expected Differences<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Circular design on the Pixel vs. square design on the Galaxy Watch Ultra<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Pixel Watch has a diameter of 1.45 inches, while the Watch Ultra has a diameter of 1.5 inches<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s no exaggeration to say that the design of the Galaxy Watch Ultra is eye-opening. Some say it&#8217;s a shameless homage to the Apple Watch Ultra, and while the two share some similarities, the Galaxy Watch Ultra&#8217;s design is quite unique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Pixel Watch 3 XL has a 420mAh<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.batteriesfast.co.uk\/smart-watch-battery\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Google Pixel Watch 3 XL&nbsp;battery<\/a><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>, which gives it a longer&nbsp;<strong>Pixel Watch 3 battery<\/strong>&nbsp;life than the regular Pixel Watch 3. Still, it probably won\u2019t beat the Galaxy Watch Ultra, which has a large 590mAh<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Galaxy Watch Ultra battery.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Battery life will vary widely between Watches due to factors like chipset, screen brightness, and how each watch handles sensors and tracking. But looking at the numbers alone, the Galaxy Watch Ultra may have the edge over the Pixel Watch 3 XL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When it comes to charging, the differences aren\u2019t huge. The Pixel Watch 3 should charge to 50% in 30 minutes and 80% in 45 minutes. On the other hand, the Galaxy Watch Ultra, with 15W wireless charging, can charge to full in about 90 minutes. The 0-50% times should be very similar for both. We\u2019ll run some tests and update with exact numbers soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voice Calls and Haptics<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this regard, field testing will be needed to assess the quality and strength of the speakers and vibration motors inside the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Pixel Watch 3 XL. The former is already on our test bench, so there will be some comments on microphone and speaker performance soon, while the Pixel Watch 3 XL is still under wraps, so we can\u2019t comment. What we can say is that Google needs to improve the vibration motor to stay competitive, as we found the one inside the Pixel Watch 2 to be rather lackluster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Galaxy Watch Ultra and Pixel Watch 3 XL look very different at first glance, but upon closer inspection, there are some similarities between them.
